- I have practiced law since 1991 focusing in construction, real estate, and business advice and litigation. I am a LEED AP and interested in sustainable development issues. I am the former Chair of the Construction Law and Public Contracts Section of the Virginia State Bar. I am also the Lead Editor of our blog, Virginia Real Estate, Land Use and Construction Law Blog.

- Extensive trial experience; 18+ years of construction related work running the gamut from residential projects to significant road, highway, bridge, and industrial plant litigation. I have also represented at one point or another virtually every type of player in the industry and thus have a somewhat panoramic understanding of the viewpoints of the players.
